STATEMENT ON MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Rosehill Polymers Group Ltd are committed to improving our practices and ensuring, as far as we are able, that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking. This statement sets out the steps taken by Rosehill Polymers Group during the financial year 2023 (April 2023-April 2024) to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking part in any of our business or supply chains. The statement is published in line with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
As a market leader in polymer systems design, development, and manufacturing, our expertise spans a diverse array of markets and industries, including highways, offshore oil and gas, rail, sports and play, and security.
OUR POLICIES IN RELATION TO MODERN SLAVERY
Our internal policies reflect our principles and their actions. These include:
Whistleblowing Policy – The Company Handbook sets out the rights of any employee that has concerns about the company and its workings. This includes any suspicions on modern slavery or human trafficking. Our employees are aware of the reporting process for any concerns and that these concerns will be escalated to the Directors to be dealt with in an urgent manner.
Anti-Bribery – Our Bribery and Corruption Policy sets out our zero tolerance towards fraud, corruption, and abuse of position for personal gain.
Equal Opportunities – Our Equal Opportunities Policy shows our commitment to encouraging diversity and eliminating discrimination within our role as an employer and service provider.
Employee well-being – We provide an Employee Assistance Scheme for our employees which gives access to a range of advice and support, including a 24/7 mental health helpline and free counselling services for both employees and their families.
SUPPLY CHAINS
Both new and existing suppliers are evaluated on more than economic criteria. Rosehill Polymers Group Ltd looks closely at environmental protection, compliance with human rights and labour laws, and Anti-Corruption Policies. We see our supply chain as an extension of ourselves, therefore we work closely with third parties to ensure they work in a way consistent with our values.
EMBEDDING THE PRINCIPLES
We will continue to take action by:
- Raising awareness within our workforce of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and informing them of the appropriate action to take should they suspect a case of slavery or human trafficking.
- Ensure that staff involved in procurement are aware of the modern slavery guidance provided by the government.
- Continue to take a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking within our business and our supply chain.
This voluntary slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending April 2024 was approved by the Managing Director.
